About the exhibition
This interactive exhibition explores the evolution of transport and encourages imaginations to run wild. Created by Sydney Living Museums in collaboration with illustrator James Gulliver Hancock, On the Move takes visitors on a journey across Australia, discovering fascinating facts about different modes of transport and vehicles along the way.
Discover how transportation works in busy cities and how fuel choices you make can have a positive impact on the environment. See how transport modes have evolved over time - the trials, the failures and the successes. Build your own vehicle, jump on the driver's seat and work your way through the transport network maze. Along the way you will discover fascinating facts to learn and how transport has evolved and how it connects us, locally, internationally and beyond.
