IAVA GAP exhibitions

Do you have a GAP in your exhibition program? A sudden cancellation? We can curate and deliver an exhibition at short notice.

We are IAVA (Illawarra Association for the Visual Arts). We are a group of 40+ artists based in the Illawarra mainly around Wollongong whose work focuses on the contemporary arts. IAVA is the premier contemporary artist association celebrating 10 years of creating art.

We have a range of artists specialising across all art forms.... painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography. We are aware of the problems that COVID has caused for artists and galleries. We too have unfortunately had planned and booked exhibitions cancelled at the last moment due to the COVID restrictions.

To keep our association active and creating we are looking for any available gallery space in 2022. We can offer galleries a number of options... For example we could supply a whole exhibition, our members have works ready to go. We have around 100 works that could be curated for an exhibition. We also have individual artists (1-6 or 10-12 for example) depending on the size of the venue, ready to show.

We are targeting renowned galleries that specialise in the contemporary arts. Our specially curated exhibition of our members works may help if you have any 'gaps' in your program that need filling... for example, if an exhibition has fallen through or perhaps you may just have a one week or a fortnight time slot needing an exhibition.
